Here is the final, with a detail shot, if you're on mobile, zoom into the detail. The images I post here are typically 12 to 18% of original size. so you loose alot of the nice textures that get blurred out due to the file format and size reduction. The goal was to create an image with as few strokes as possible, make every single mark count. Oddly enough, this was a very relaxing and fun painting to do. I probably spent about an hour off and on total for this image. Speed was not a concern, but I found it very interesting that it took such a short amount of time, even with all that focus and purposeful mark making. I use custom brushes in photoshop that have custom textures or a mix of brushes that are "dual" brushes. I have thousands of brushes, but I typically only use 2 to 3, all those others brushes are there for use as texture and dual brushes.
